Recently, the Zilha Parishad has published a new Government Resolution (GR) announcing a significant increase in the salary for Gramsevaks. Previously, the Gramsevaks were employed on a contractual basis for three years, receiving a monthly salary of ₹6,000. However, with the new GR in effect, their monthly salary has been raised to ₹16,000. This increase reflects the importance and recognition of the critical role Gramsevaks play in the development of villages and Gram Panchayats.

Eligibility Criteria for Gramsevak Post:

To be eligible for the Gramsevak post, candidates must meet certain educational qualifications and possess relevant skills. The following are the educational requirements:

• a) 12th pass with a minimum of 60% marks.
• b) 3-year engineering degree from a recognized institution.
• c) Social degree like BSW (Bachelor of Social Work).
• d) 10th pass with a two-year Krushi diploma.
• e) A Krushi degree

Candidates who fulfill these requirements are eligible to apply for the Gramsevak position when the Zilha Parishad publishes advertisements for the same.

Exam Preparation for Gramsevak Post:

The selection process for the Gramsevak post includes a competitive examination that candidates need to prepare for thoroughly. The exam pattern consists of 100 questions, with a total of 200 marks, and the duration of the exam is 120 minutes. The subjects covered in the examination are as follows:

• Marathi: This section tests candidates’ proficiency in the Marathi language.
