1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (General)

🎓 Educational Qualification
✅ For JSA (All Cadres):
- 10+2 / XII pass OR 3-year Diploma after 10th (equivalent to 12th)
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi
- Proficiency in using computers (as per DoPT norms)
✅ For Junior Stenographer:
- 10+2 / XII pass
- Stenography skill at 80 w.p.m. (English or Hindi)
🧠 Selection Process
✍️ Written Examination
For JSA (Gen, F&A, S&P)
Paper-I (Mental Ability Test)
- 100 Questions | 200 Marks | 90 Minutes | No Negative Marking
Paper-II (General Awareness + English Language)
- General Awareness: 50 Qs | 150 Marks
- English Language: 50 Qs | 150 Marks
- Negative Marking: 1 Mark for each wrong answer
Only candidates who qualify Paper-I will have Paper-II evaluated. Final merit will be based on Paper-II marks.
Typing Test (Qualifying Only)
- Typing speed as per above norms | 10 minutes duration
For Junior Stenographer
Written Test (Single Paper)
- 200 Questions | 200 Marks | 2 Hours
- Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension
- 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer
Stenography Skill Test (Qualifying Only)
- 10-minute dictation @ 80 w.p.m. | Transcription:
- English: 50 mins
- Hindi: 65 mins
