The EKLAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL (EMRS), under the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, is inviting applications from Indian citizens for various teaching and non-teaching positions. Positions Available
EMRS has a total of 4,062 vacancies across different positions. Here is a breakdown of the positions and the number of vacancies:
- Principal: 303 vacancies
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): 2,266 vacancies
- Accountant: 361 vacancies
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 759 vacancies
- Lab Attendant: 373 vacancies
Important Dates:
The last date for submitting the online application form is July 31, 2023. Make sure to complete the application process before the deadline to be considered for the recruitment.
Application Fees:
Candidates need to pay the following application fees (non-refundable) based on the position they are applying for:
- Principal: Rs. 2,000/-
- PGT: Rs. 1,500/-
- Non-teaching Staff: Rs. 1,000/-
However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying any application fee.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the respective positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Principal:
Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree, B.Ed. degree, and 12 years of combined experience as Vice Principal/PGT/TGT, with a minimum of 4 years as a PGT.
PGT:
Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree from a recognized University/Institute deemed as a University in specific subjects related to the teaching position.
Accountant:
Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
Essential Qualification: Degree in Commerce.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA):
Age: Not exceeding 27 years.
Essential Qualification: 12th pass and possessing a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
Lab Attendant:
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification: 10th pass with a certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique OR 12th Class with Science.
Pay Scale:
The positions offered by EMRS come with attractive pay scales. Here are the pay levels for each position:
- Principal: Level 12 (Rs. 78,800-209,200/-)
- PGT: Level 8 (Rs. 47,600-151,100/-)
- Accountant: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400-112,400/-)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Level 2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200/-)
- Lab Attendant: Level 1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900/-)
Selection Process:
The selection process for EMRS Staff Recruitment will be conducted through the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2023). The examination will be in “OMR Based (Pen-Paper)” mode.
