Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or BMLS
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or DMLS (with a course duration of at least 2 years)
- Recognized by UGC, State Government, or Central Government
- Essential Experience: M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MMLS) preferred
Experience (Desirable)
- 2 years of experience for B.Sc/Diploma holders in diagnostic laboratories
- 1 year of experience for candidates with an M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Candidates with experience in accredited labs or labs that have applied for accreditation will be preferred
Age Limit
- Upper age limit is 60 years as of the advertisement date
- Age relaxation for contractual service up to 62 years
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all laboratory tests related to ART treatment, including first-line, second-line, and third-line ART tests
- Responsible for sample collection, transportation, and viral load testing
- Maintain the CD4 testing and viral load estimation line list
- Work as an ART Centre Lab Technician
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Programme Director/Deputy Programme Director
Appointment Type
- The position is temporary and contract-based
- Initial appointment: 3 months probation period
- Continuation based on successful probation completion and performance evaluation
Remuneration
- Only consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 21,000/-
- Allowances like T.A., D.A., and H.R.A. are not applicable
