3. Educational Criteria:

• 3.1 GRADE IV/JUNIOR ASSISTANT (12th-grade pass)
  • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer.
• 3.2 STENOGRAPHER (12th-grade pass)
  • Speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 w.p.m in typewriting (English/Hindi).
• 3.3 LOWER DIVISION CLERK-CUM-TYPIST (12th-grade pass)
  • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer.
• 3.4 JR. STENOGRAPHER (10th-grade pass)
  • Proficiency in shorthand and typing (80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing).
• 3.5 JUNIOR ASSISTANT (12th-grade pass)
  • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer.
• 3.6 JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER (ENGLISH) (12th-grade pass)
  • Shorthand Speed 100 words per minute, Typing Speed 40 words per minute.

4. Age Limit:

• 4.1 Between 18-27 years. Age Relaxation per government rules.

5. Application Process:

• 5.1 Candidates must register on DSSSB’s portal: DSSSB Portal.
• 5.2 Application Fees: ₹100 (Exempted for Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen).

6. Selection Process:

• 6.1 Tier-I Examination:
  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • Marks: 200
  • Subjects: General Awareness, Mental Ability & Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Data Interpretation, Hindi & English Language, Basic Familiarity with computers.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer.
• 6.2 Tier-II:
  • Skill Test/Endurance Test as per job requirements.
