Salary Range: The salary for the Vanrakshak (Forest Guard) position ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.
Application Fees: Open category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000, while reserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 900. Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying any fee.

The selection process consists of two stages: a written test and a physical test.
- Written Test: The written test will be conducted online by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and will be worth 120 marks. It will comprise four subjects:
- Marathi: 30 marks
- English: 30 marks
- General Knowledge: 30 marks
